Twin Peaks Podcast Project: Fish in the Percolator Episode 3

This week Matt and I are watching Zen, or the Skill to Catch a Killer, the third episode of Twin Peaks …and talking a LOT about the extended works of David Patrick Kelly and Miguel Ferrer.

Fish in the Percolator is a two-part project. This first bit is our weekly audio podcast. Every podcast, we’ll delve into every individual episode of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s classic murder mystery series, Twin Peaks.

I’m an obsessive fan of the series. Obsessive. I’m one of those lunatics that just fell headlong in love with this bizarre thing. This is my third time running through the full series. As for Matt, he’s a fan of the show but he’s actually only seen the first season. That means he doesn’t know who killed Laura Palmer, so it should be a lot of fun hearing his reaction.

Whether you’re a long-time fan of Twin Peaks or first time viewer, please subscribe and join us for our audio-only portion of the show. This week, we’re discussing the third episode of the series.

This is damn fine television.

Youtube Commentary Track

As with last week, the second part of Fish in the Percolator is a little more experimental. Here you can rewatch Twin Peaks right along with Matt and I. Just sync up the latest episode of Twin Peaks with this special audio-only commentary video. Unlike the discussion podcast, this commentary track is definitely not designed for first-time viewers. We’ll give it a try for a few weeks to see if people are interested in this type of content. Let us know what you think!

So brew up some coffee and join us for another episode of Twin Peaks. Just make sure there isn’t a fish in the percolator.
